Historic Clinton Merchants hosting “Blooms Day” Saturday

The merchants in Historic Downtown Clinton invite everyone to join them downtown this Saturday, April 13th, from 10 am to 5 pm for “Historic Clinton’s Blooms Day” celebration.

Events will be going all day, including a book signing by author Jeri Landers, Easter photos with bunnies and chicks, a petting zoo, a Crossfit obstacle course, a spring ballon sale, children’s workshops, face painting, art shows featuring work by Clinton-area students, artists and crafters, and more.

Food will be available from the Apple Blossom Cafe, Captain Muchachos, Holy Smokin’ BBQ and Knox Dough.

The schedule of events for Saturday starts at 10 am when the shops in Historic Downtown Clinton open their doors. At noon, the TN Valley Cloggers will perform, followed at 12:30 by dancers from Dream Dance Studio. There will be an honest-to-goodness pie-eating contest at 1 pm, and a fashion show at 2 pm. An Easter bonnet parade begins at 3 and the day’s festivities culminate at 4 pm with an Easter Egg Roll on Market Street!

Everyone is welcome to join the Historic Merchants of Clinton this Saturday for “Blooms Day!”
