Follow-Up: Body in Roane river identified

Authorities in Roane County have identified the man whose body was found in the Emory River on Monday night as 32-year-old Alex Ruppe of Oakdale in Morgan County.

The body was found floating in the river Monday night in Harriman.

The autopsy report is still pending, so it is unclear how Ruppe died, but we will keep you posted as we learn more.
