Child struck by car outside school, suffers only minor injuries

A student at Norwood Middle School was clipped by a car Friday afternoon, according to Oliver Springs Police.

The incident occurred at around 4:45 as the child, whose name and age have not been released, crossed the road in front of the school and was struck by a passing car. The boy suffered only minor injuries and the driver was not charged.
