Campbell home destroyed in fire

A home on Knox Hollow Road in Campbell County was destroyed by a fire Thursday afternoon.

The Campbell County Rural Fire Service and personnel with the LaFollette Fire Department responded to the 1000 block of Knox Hollow at around 12:30 pm Thursday and reported finding heavy smoke and flames upon their arrival.

They were able to extinguish the fire, the cause of which remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
