Fire destroys outbuilding

A fire on Christmas night destroyed an outbuilding on Savage Garden Road in Rocky Top, but no injuries were reported.

Property owner Samuel Foust told Sheriff’s deputies that he was not sure exactly what was in the shed at the time of the fire, adding that he did not have insurance in it or its contents. Deputies observed extension cords running into the building, but the exact cause of the fire has not been determined.
