Campbell man killed by falling tree

Campbell County authorities are investigating to determine exactly how a man was killed while cutting a tree.

Authorities were called to the Sugar Hollow area at around 9 pm Wednesday, where they found the body of a man trapped under a tree. Officials say it appeared as though he had been under the tree for approximately 48 hours.

The man’s name had not been released as of the time this report was filed.
