One injured in Thursday stabbing, one arrested

One man was injured and another man arrested following a stabbing Thursday afternoon in LaFollette.

LaFollette Police responded to a call about a fight near Pine Park on West Prospect Street shortly before 5 pm Thursday and when they arrived, officers reported that 50-year-old Shawn Morris had been stabbed on his arm and abdomen. He was flown to UT Medical Center by Lifestar.

33-year-old David Spradlin of LaFollette was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
