Rev. Jerry Edward (Big Ed) Woods, age 53, of Jacksboro

Rev. Jerry Edward (Big Ed) Woods, age 53, of Jacksboro passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017. A Member of Long Hollow Baptist Church, a traveling Evangelist, and member of Campbell County Masonic Lodge #778 F & AM. He was a famous Cougar Football Fan and Manager at Campbell County Comprehensive High School where a road was named in his honor.

Preceded in death by Father, Rev. Jerry Woods; special niece, Christian (Kitty) Woods; grandparents, Austin & Ruth Lindsay and Jim & Marie Woods

Survivors

Mother: Joyce Woods

Sisters: Elaine Massengill, Jacksboro

Jennifer Troutt, Jacksboro

Brothers: Tim Woods & wife Cynthia, Caryville

James Woods & wife Kriss, Seymour

Nieces & Nephews: Clark, Lindsay, Beau, Carson, John, Tyler,

Jackson, Kendall, and Carson

Several other relatives and friends and his beloved Campbell County Cougars

Funeral Service 1 PM Saturday at Indian Creek Baptist Church

Rev. Jimmy Branscomb, Rev. Bill Wilson and Rev. Gary Moser officiating

Interment Indian Creek Cemetery

Memorials may be made to offset expense at Cross-Smith Funeral Home

Family will receive friends 5 PM to 8 PM Friday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with a Masonic Service at 8 PM in the Chapel
