AC baseball coach Downs resigns

Anderson County High School baseball coach and assistant principal Ben Downs has announced his resignation. Downs, who has spent the last 10 years guiding the Mavericks’ baseball team has accepted an administrative role in the Alcoa city school system. We wish Ben nothing but the best of luck and good fortune.
