Kathleen Henderson Cardwell

Kathleen Henderson Cardwell passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2017 at the Parkwest Medical Center. She was born in Anderson County on April 10, 1939. Kathleen was one of the most loving, kindest women you could ever meet. She always told us she wanted to leave this world a kinder place by her deeds, and she succeded. Family meant everything to her.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle T. Cardwell; her father and mother Condie and Naomi Henderson; brothers, Charles Henderson, William Henderson, Alvis Henderson, and Ronald Henderson; sisters, Anna Lee Elkins, and Alta Lee Henderson; several aunts and uncles.
She leaves behind her loving children, Kim Richards and husband Jeff; Shannon Cardwell and wife Colleen, Alieshia Monday and husband Todd; loving grandchildren Jeffrey Richards and wife Grace, Joshua Richards and wife Amber, Tarisha Monday, Nick Monday, Katie Gresham and husband Jacob, and Grace Cardwell; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jailee and Jackson Richards, Allison, Logan, Brent, and Baylee Richards and Emerey Gresham.
The family would like to give a very special thank you to the staff of Parkwest for all their above and beyond care for our mother.
The family will receive family and friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 5-7PM with the funeral service to follow at 7PM with the Rev. Leonard Gresham officiating. Interment will be on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens at 2PM.
