Tree falls on car, no injuries

Claxton brush fire contained, extinguished

A brush fire was reported in Claxton Thursday evening off of Sherwood Road. Crews from the Claxton Volunteer Fire Department were able to contain the fire, which was also extinguished with a little help from Mother Nature overnight. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
