Anderson County Hall of Fame Inductions March 30th

The Anderson County Hall of Fame Induction Banquet will be held on Thursday March 30th beginning at 5:30 pm in the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church in Clinton.

Each year, local individuals are inducted into the Hall of Fame, which was established in 2007, for their achievements as business leaders, athletes, elected officials, visionaries, volunteers, members of the military, coaches and youth mentors and educators. Lifetime achievement and lifetime ministry are also recognized.

This year’s inductees into the Anderson County Hall of Fame are:

ENTREPRENEUR: John Burrell, Jr.

MILITARY: Lt. Col. Mel Clausen

VISIONARIES: Gordon & Janie Cox

BUSINESS LEADERS: Ronnie Fox, Stanley Fox, Sr. and Becky Grubb

K-12 EDUCATOR: Larry Foster

YOUTH MENTOR: Mary Hammond

MINISTRY: Rev. Robbie Leach

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT: Charles “Bones” Seivers

COMMITMENT TO SERVICE: Joann Swann

PUBLIC OFFICIAL: Sheriff Paul White

The ceremony will be emceed by WYSH’s own Ron Meredith, and the keynote speaker will be Stephen Bargatze. He is an internationally-acclaimed motivational speaker and comedian and also serves as Director of Student Services for the Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association, or TSSAA.
