Dragons fall at Farragut, still seeking first win

Monday night, the Clinton Dragons fell to 0-7 to start the season as they fell at Farragut 61-51. The Admirals’ Nick Rogers scored 34 of his game-high 36 points in the second half as Farragut broke open a close game that had been led by Clinton 14-13 at halftime. Travon Hill and Evan Winchester led the Dragons with 12 points apiece. The Dragons look to secure their first win of the season when they welcome in White County from Sparta to the Don Lockard Gymnasium on Tuesday. WYSH and WQLA will carry the doubleheader between White County and Clinton starting with live updates from the girls’ game during Trading Time Primetime and full, live coverage joining game one in progress at 7:00 and taking you all the way through to the final buzzer of the boys’ tilt.

The Warriors and Warriorettes swept a doubleheader in Sparta in the first week of the season, winning both games going away. The boys’ and girls’ teams are each 6-1 to start the season.
