Clinton Middle students reach out to help fire victims

The young people of this community are getting involved in helping those effected by the devastating wildfires in Sevier County.

The Clinton Middle School ASL (American Sign Language club) and SGA (Student Government Association are collecting items for the firefighters and victims of the latest wildfires in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg from now until Wednesday, December 7th. Items can be dropped off at the Clinton Middle School front office between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. The following is a list of acceptable items:

  • cases of water and/or gatorade
  • non perishable food items
  • toiletry items (toothpaste, shampoos, soap, combs/brushes)
  • blankets
  • diapers
  • wipes
  • formula
  • stuffed animals
  • coloring books and crayons
  • socks
  • undergarments
  • jackets
  • dog and cat food
