LWVOR hosting candidate forum Tuesday

The League of Women Voters of Oak Ridge will host a forum in Oak Ridge Tuesday featuring the candidates for Oak Ridge City Council, Board of Education, and city judge.

The forum will start at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, in the Oak Ridge High School Amphitheater.

Candidates for Oak Ridge City Council

Jim Dodson, Wende Doolittle, Anne Garcia Garland, Charles J. “Chuck” Hope Jr., Joseph Lee, Mark LeNoir, and Hans Vogel have been invited to speak and answer questions. Voters can vote for any three candidates.

Candidates for Oak Ridge Board of Education

Angi Agle, Keys Fillauer, and Myra Mansfield have been invited to speak and answer questions. Voters can vote for any two candidates.

Candidate for City Judge

Robert A. McNees III has been invited to speak. Voters can vote for one candidate.

Patrick Bryan, former co-president of the League of Women Voters of Oak Ridge, will moderate the forum. Questions will be provided by the audience.

Early voting begins October 19 and ends November 3. The election is Tuesday, November 8.
