Caryville man indicted on 56 counts

A Caryville man has been arrested on 56 charges alleging sexual abuse of children. The victims range in age from nine to 16, according to a press release issued by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department.

53-year-old Marvin D. Bullock was indicted by a Campbell County grand jury last week and later arrested.

Bullock’s charges includes 13 counts of incest, 11 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure, four counts of rape of a child,  nine counts of rape, four counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child, three counts of solicitation of a minor, three counts of attempting to solicit sexual exploitation of a minor, solicitation of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts sexual exploitation of a minor, interference with emergency calls and five counts of aggravated sexual battery.

Bullock was arrested shortly after the indictment was issued and remains in the Campbell County Jail with a $250,000 bond.
