Clinton man arrested in Lafollette

A Clinton man was arrested last week in Campbell County on several charges. Lafollette Police had been searching for 46-year-old William Samuel Fritts for questioning in a burglary and assault when an officer spotted him Thursday on Jacksboro Pike and pulled over the car he was driving. Police say that when the officer approached, Fritts volunteered that he had several syringes in a bag in the backseat. A search confirmed his statement and officers also found marijuana in the same bag. Officers also recovered items believed to have been involved in the assault case he was wanted for questioning for. He was charged with aggravated domestic assault, burglary, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
