Single-game Smokies tix on sale March 7

The Tennessee Smokies have announced that single-game tickets for the 2016 regular season will go on sale Monday, March 7, at 10 a.m. ET. Tickets can be purchased through the Smokies’ website, over the phone or in person at the Smokies Stadium ticket office.

The 2016 campaign will kick off at Smokies Stadium on Thursday, April 7, as Tennessee squares off against the Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. First pitch on that evening is slated for 7:05 p.m. ET. Opening Night will feature the season’s first Thirsty Thursday of the home slate, as drinks that evening can be purchase for just one dollar.

Other early season promotional nights will feature the Smokies’ annual Youth Baseball Clinic on Sunday, April 17, and the yearly Senior Day contest, which will take place at 12:05 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 20.

The 2016 home campaign will also feature firework shows following every Friday and Saturday night contest. As well, the Smokies’ game on Independence Day, Monday, July 4, will include a post-game firework display. The rest of the team’s promotion schedule will be released in full in March.

Season ticket, 30-pack and 12-pack mini plans are currently on-sale via the Smokies’ website, phone call or at the Smokies Stadium box office. Group outings in Smokies Stadium’s Luxury Suites, Calhoun’s at the Yard, The Clubhouse, Party Porch, Pioneer Porch and the Smoky Mountain Brewery Bullpen are also on-sale and can be purchased through the same outlets.

The Smokies will begin their 2016 campaign at home on Thursday, April 7, with a five-game series against the Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Season ticket and multi-game voucher plans are currently available and can be purchased online at www.smokiesbaseball.com, or by calling the Smokies Ticket Office at (865) 286-2300.
