Former Oak Ridge Police Captain Robin Smith was promoted last month to the position of Deputy Police Chief in Oak Ridge. Smith, whose promotion became effective November 8th, will continue to oversee the Oak Ridge PDs Patrol Division and SWAT Team. Smith succeeds Alan Massengill, who retired in September.
