OR man arrested in Friday shooting

A 22-year-old Oak Ridge man has been arrested and charged in connection to a shooting that occurred Friday in Oak Ridge. 22-year-old Tyler Earl Gulley is facing two counts of aggravated assault in connection to the incident, which occurred just before noon on Friday and left two people wounded. Gulley is in custody on bonds totaling $100,000 at the Anderson County Jail.
Gulley told investigators that he had been walking on Fisk Avenue when Daniel Rose and Josie Wiseman pulled up alongside him in a car. Gulley said he and Rose got into a verbal disagreement, and then exchanged gunfire. Gulley allegedly shot Rose in the left foot and Wiseman in the stomach, according to Oak Ridge Police. The shooting victims were taken to UT Medical Center, Wiseman by Lifestar, for treatment of their injuries. Gulley was apparently not injured.
A search warrant for Gulley’s home was obtained, and two loaded pistols were found there.
