ORHS briefly evacuated Thursday

Oak Ridge High School was briefly evacuated Thursday afternoon when a short in a fire alarm set off alarms throughout the building. Students and staff spent about 15 minutes outside after the alarms went off at around 2 pm. They were allowed back into school after Oak Ridge firefighters traced the problem to a faulty smoke detector in the main entrance lobby and repaired it.
