The Clinton Dragons football team returns to action after bye week tonight with a road trip to Blount County and a date with the Heritage Mountaineers. The 3-5 Dragons have secured the 4th seed out Region 3-5A for the playoffs, their second straight year to make the postseason, and will be looking to build some momentum heading into the playoffs. The Mountaineers, also 3-5 on the season, have qualified for the postseason for the first time since 1999 and still have a shot at a two-seed and a first round home playoff game if they can beat Halls next week. Our coverage on Fox & Farley Friday Night Football begins at 7:00 tonight right after Trading Time Primetime with kickoff at 7:30. Other area teams in action include Anderson County traveling to Morristown East to face the Hurricanes andOak Ridge staying at home to entertain Webb.
